Heritage Portfolio

Imperial Cinema, Walsall

About the Project

This former agricultural exchange building built in the early 19th century evolved into a theatre and one of the first cinemas in Walsall, finally becoming a Weatherspoons public house in recent years. Still intact is the auditorium and stage together with a host of original architectural, decorative features. A heritage statement was required to inform on the impacts of conversion of the building into residences.
