About the Project
Avalon Heritage were commissioned by the owners of the Old Granary a 19th century barn, to provide heritage services prior to its conversion into a residence. The Old Granary sits within the Newton Regis Conservation Area and as such is considered to be a non-designated heritage asset. In addition, given the location of the site within the historic core of the village it was considered necessary to monitor and ground breaking works which might expose archaeological remains.
