Sir Martin Noell's Almshouses, Stafford
About the Project
Sir Martin Noell was a London merchant born in Stafford in the 17th century and Sir Martin Noell’s Almshouses on Mill Street were one of three such buildings built for him in Stafford in the 17th century to house the area’s poor. The almshouses are due to benefit from a programme of refurbishment and a statement of significance was required to accompany the planning application.
